The Impromptu is a very zippy but nevertheless sentimental music production from a hungarian world music group Szimbola.

The band plays first of all moldvanian folk music covers, but there are a Muzsikás cover on the album (Betyárnóta, from Ősz az idő album by Muzsikás Folk Ensemble from 1993) and two poem covers (Királyasszony kertje from Lajos Ápriliy and Impromptu from László Magyar).

The Szimbola inspirated by hungarian, balkanian and central-european folk music, blues, jazz and alternative music styles.
